Mission
We will service the communities by providing women with purpose, direction and motivation to help us accomplish our mission and improve our organization. We will enlighten, encourage and empower all women that are connected with the military or federal government, to establish and maintain a lifelong sisterhood and bond, for charitable, societal, educational, and other non-profit purposes, for the greater good of the world.

ABOUT US
Founded August 16, 2017 and incorporated November 29, 2017 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, Iota Gamma Psi (ΙΓΨ) Military Sorority Incorporated is the brainchild of 10 women. These women were on a mission to bring positive images to the stereotype surrounding sororities. They also wanted to bridge the gaps between the women SERVING in the military and the women SERVICING the military. These women came from all walks of life and made the decision to create a sorority that did not limit membership to active duty, veterans or retired women of the Armed Forces. Through trials and tribulations, 6 of these women persisted and became the Diamond Founders of ΙΓΨ Military Sorority Incorporated, a military affiliated sisterhood.

We are a non-collegiate, social and community-service, multi-faith-based sorority. We accept Natural-born women from all branches of the military, Active or retired Government Civilians, Active Government Contractors and Military Spouses regardless of branch of service, sexual orientation, rank/position held, religious preference, and/or color of skin.

We provide a multi-cultural and supportive environment, so whoever you are and wherever you come from, you will always be welcome.

Just as the Armed Services allow members of each branch of service to change forces, the founders strongly believe that former Sorors should also be afforded the same opportunity. Therefore, we also accept former military sorority members that departed in good standing.
